So you want to transition into Pharma?
What are you thinking????!
Just kidding- actually you made a great choice.
There are a lot of reasons why people decide to make a career move into the Pharmaceutical Industry. Whether it is from Academia, Post-Doctoral, or Clinical settings, a career change into the industry can be very rewarding.
And I don’t mean just financially rewarding (but yes, that too). As the industry continuously innovates, it makes products that serve unmet needs. Ultimately if your goal is to help sick people feel better, you can find a home in the industry (more on that later)…
But let’s cut to the chase:
You are not the only one who is seeking their first pharma job in pursuit of these rewards. There are many others like you who are trying to do the same. Not only that, but because of the nature of the industry, hiring managers preferentially seek candidates who already have several years of work experience in it.
If you have no prior pharmaceutical industry work experience, your journey through the application and interview process is not going to be easy.
Does that make it impossible? No- everybody working in the industry started off with no experience.
Does it make it not worth pursuing? Also no. Why have a dream that you are unwilling to chase?
Does it mean you are unqualified? Absolutely not- anybody who put in thousands of hours to become educated and trained should never question their qualifications.
What I’m saying is…
In order to land your first job offer in the pharmaceutical industry, you’re going to have to stand out from other candidates who have no industry experience as well as those who are already working in it.
So how do you do that?
It’s not difficult, because (lucky for you) most people never attempt to do so, and even less know how to properly stand out.
Are you interested in saving a lot of time and frustration in your job search?
Boy, have you found the right place….
Stick around and you will learn the secrets to successfully getting yourself noticed, admired, and EMPLOYED by the Pharmaceutical Industry.
All while improving on yourself and being better than the person you were yesterday.
Sound too good to be true?
I promise you- it is NOT!
